The Oberammergau passion tells the story of the Passion Play through the ages - and the work of the production in 2010.

Fascinating film recordings from the past 100 years show the past - exclusive observations the present of the Oberammergau Passion. Jörg Adolph and Ralf Bücheler follow the steps in the creation of the legendary Passion Play from "beard and hair waiver" to the costume rehearsals shortly before the premiere and thus come closer to the Oberammergau phenomenon and the "Passion Play Fever" of its inhabitants. An integral part of the Oberammergau passion is an attunement trip by the ensemble to Israel. In October 2009, Bavarian TV accompanied the Bavarian Passion in the Holy Land with a camera team.
